I completed my masters in commerce in the year 1989 and since then I am into teaching profession. I have done LL B (with Labor and Industrial Relations specialisation) and Ph D (Human Resource Accounting). I have taught courses on Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, and Cost Accounting during my earlier assignment at Sherubtse College, Kanglung, which is a premier educational institution of Royal Government of Bhutan.

As a recognition of my research work I have been awarded Young Researcher Award by Indian Accounting Association for the year 2001. I have been national executive member of Indian Accounting Association and Indian Commerce Association. Indian Commerce Association has conferred Fellow on me in the year 2007. I am member of Research Development Association (since 1994) and Indian Academy of Applied Psychologists (since 1996) apart from being member of Indian Accounting Association (since 1993) and Indian Commerce Association (Since 1993). I have been a former member (during 2004-2005) of International Society of Quality of Life Studies (ISQOLS), USA.

I have participated in more than 60 conferences, seminars and workshops and contributed papers. I have made presentations in United States of America (Philadelphia), Hongkong (Lingnan University), Thailand (UNCC, Bangkok), Bhutan (CBS, Thimphu) apart from many universities and institutions in India. I have published papers in the areas of accounting, management, and happiness in journals and books.
