PHILOSOPHY & GOALS

Philippine Computer College holds responsible to train and educate the youth equally and critically for him/her to create a life that although directed towards technologically change, shall demand from him/her values and ideals that will enhance his/her immediate and remote community, and that shall bestow the meaning, the purpose, and the dignity of human existence.
In harmony with the philosophy, the college has specific goals. It aims to prepare the empowered youth into worthy graduates who are:

1. Adapted to a lifestyle characterized by kindness, patience, unselfishness. Honesty, humility, love for all men regardless of creed color and social origin and instilled with the desired Christian virtues.

2. Formed by the habits of critical and constructive thinking resulting in the ability to express ideas effectively, to make wise choices and exhibit sound judgment while applying appropriate knowledge and solutions to practical problems of life.

3. Appreciative/conservative of nature, literature, music and other fine arts as evidenced by their discriminating choice of recreational activities.

4. A clear manifestation of quality leadership as they endeavor to enjoin and lead in worthwhile community activities.

5. Harnessed to response promptly and effectively to the changing needs of the locality where they belong or get actively involved in government thrusts which are geared towards achieving national development goals.

Likewise, PCC has defined her objectives which are as follows:


OBJECTIVES

1. To participate competently and aggressively, and genuinely collaborate in the development, adaptation, integration and, widespread diffusion of innovations to spur up positive economic gains
2. To generate new knowledge through research.
3. To disseminate new knowledge through instruction.
4. To apply and further refine such knowledge to meet the society's need for qualified new generations.
5. To transmit technically exploitable knowledge to meet society's need for qualified new generations.
6. To ensure that the graduates are equipped with minimum qualifications in the area of extra - functional abilities.
7. To equip each graduate with the understanding of the society's political- cultural tradition that would lead to their continuous reproduction, development or critical transformation.
8. To produce a PCCian who is

a. technologically literate
b. academically equipped
c. morally upright
d. socially responsive
e. nationalistic
f, a disciplined person
g. an economic man
h. a leader
i. armed with the following cultures:

- culture of excellence: " Excellence drives mediocrity away - a habit worn daily to invite industry & prosperity."
- culture of Punctuality: "Filipino Time = PCCian Time = On Time"
- culture of deadlines: "Time is gold… Work today as if there is no tomorrow - and be bountiful; blessed."
- culture of Flexibility: "When you are in Rome, be a Roman."
