Welcome...

This website was created so I could share both my Norske Løve kit bashing and Le Gros Ventre scratch building experiences. When possible, construction updates are added monthly. I very much enjoy hearing from my many world-wide website visitors so please feel free to say hello through my guestbook.

Construction updates are placed in the next section in "yellow" followed by a boxed "Website Links" menu section that can be used to access over 800 detailed construction pictures. Please try out all the site links and enjoy :)

Latest Update: May 29th, 2009.... 40 New "Norske Løve" Pictures Added

The double stairway on the main deck is scratch built... The ship's galley funnel is scratch built and dry fitted through the forecastle hatch... Starboard gunport lids are scratch built...

New pictures have been added to the "Norske Løve" main link under both the Quick Pics and in the Build Log under May 29, 2009.

Previous Update: March 13th, 2009.... 109 New "Norske Løve" Pictures Added

The upper stern is rebuilt... The quarterdeck is detailed... The edges of the decks are finished-off... Skid beams and gangway supports are scratch built... Waterways are added... Additional rows of treenails are added to the poop deck, quarterdeck, and forecastle deck... Deck gratings, capstan, and the first "below-decks" stairway are all scratch built...
