Mat 5:48 Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. ASV

Commentary
One more verse that shows that Christians are -Perfect-. I have looked
at over 30 different translations and found all but One translate
the Greek word 'teleios' as Perfect. The Weymouth translates it as
'complete' which is a valid rendering. Christians are 'complete' or
'Perfect' both -In Christ- and -In Themselves-.
You will not find a verse anywhere in the entire Bible that teaches
Christians are -Imperfect-; Nowhere. Now... here in this verse
Messiah commands His people to be Perfect. If a person does not obey
the commands of the Lord Jesus what is that called? It's called... Sin.
Sin is the transgression of the law and Jesus said "if you love Me -keep- my commandments". And according to 1John 2:4
he who does not keep His commandments is a liar and the truth in
not in him. Such a person has no Biblical grounds to say he is saved.
All Christians are Perfect. Therefore... to say "I'm not Perfect" is
the same as saying "I'm not a Christian".
