Deeds;  Doings;  Practices.  The Greek word is... ~Praxis~   Strong's  #4234.

So what?

Well... Praxis is a derivative of... guess what Geek word... it also begins with 'pra'... and the last 3 letters are.... 'sso'!!!!!  which is.... tadaaaaa... Prasso!!!!!  Strong's  #4238, which means to ~Practice~.  --That's--  so what!
Some translations translate... "Practices". Now, Paul says in  Gal 5:21  that those who Practice sin are not saved. There the Greek is the verb ~Prasso~. Here Paul says that Christians are those who have "put off the old man with its ~Practices~."  Here Paul uses the Greek noun ~Praxis~. So here Paul is saying that the Christian has --Stopped Practicing Sin--! That's exactly what this verse is saying. Now... does it look like the man in Romans 7 has put off the old man with its Practices?  Does it look like he has --Stopped Practicing Sin--? Not even! He himself testifies that he ~Practices~  sin in verse 19.

Christians have -Put Off-  the body of sins of the flesh. That means Christians have Stopped Sinning. Not 100% totally without sin all the way to the coffin. That's the False Doctrine of Sinless Perfection. But they have stopped making a  ~Practice~  of sin.  Prasso/Praxis. Sin for the Christian is the exception. Read all about it in Romans 6 and 1John 3.
