I'll bet John Owen about choked on his wine when he read this verse... if he ever did read it.  Here once again folks we have another Godly man of whom it is said that he was...   ~~Perfect~~.  This cannot mean that he was "perfect in Christ but not in himself" because it  ~Says~ that Asa's ~~Heart~~ was Perfect; not "Christ in him". This is talking about Subjective, Personal Holiness... without which ~No~ man shall see the Lord.
People who say Christians are not Perfect are only denying the Bible and calling God a liar.
