1John 4:3 and every
spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the spirit
of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is

COMMENTARY
The word "spirit" is only once in the verse. The MKJV
& LITV are correct by omitting it with the rendering... "this
is the antichrist". That phrase also contains a double definite article
folks. That means that, a person who fails the test is the antichrist!
And there are two ways people can fail the test. One is by giving
an answer that does not match the Scriptures. The other is, by not
answering at all. The passage is clear folks. If you ask a person about
his doctrine and he refuses to answer, he is, by definition, not making
the proper confession necessary to prove whether or not he is of God.
Therefore he fails the test and must be given the judgment of this
passage that he is a false teacher/professor and is the antichrist.
