Year 2002, one group has multi-faith, religion and different background came to our University in Battambang. Year 2002, July, five students from university have attended one conference called Asia Pacific Youth Conference in Malaysia. We learnt so many inspiring stories from the participants which turned our lives around. The four absolute standards-Absolute Purity, Absolute Honesty, Absolute Love, and Absolute Unselfishness that add more meaning to our lives when we applied them in our daily basis. The Silence or Quiet Time helps us to connect with the past as well as to prepare for the future, for example, to search for daily work, change from wrong to right, reunite with family and team and so on.
After coming back from Malaysia, five of us shared our new learning with friends at the university and they were interested in these new ideas" Things must first start from us". After sharing experience with our university friends, we continued to do similar kinds of sharing with orphanages. Besides of these activities, we had cleaning rubbish campaign at resorts and temples in Battambang. We were so glad to do small things with all our hearts.
2004, our team together with Initiatives of Change International and Khmer Youth Association organized the 11th Asia Pacific Youth Conference in Siem Reap, Cambodia with 230 participants from around the world.
In January 2005, we registered ICA with the Ministry of Interior as a legal body. We had our Phnom Penh office since August 2005.

Initiatives of Change Association aims to build up a peaceful world without discrimination regardless races, religions, or backgrounds.

Initiatives of Change Association wants to see Cambodian youth live in peace and harmony, where human rights are respected, where there is no discrimination, and where has value in the development of Cambodia.
