The wind had changed direction for this week and was blowing the correct way down the valley to make fast times a possibility, however, the lack of tree cover on the climbs slowed the riders down.
Fastest rider on the night was Rhys Rowlands with 24m 30s. Second place was taken by Nigel Pearce with 25m 21s and third place was shared between Tony Hudson and Cwmcarn Paragon rider Jon Vickery with 25m 31s. Tony has been off the bike for almost two years, so third place in his first outing is a cracking effort.
Steve Baker once again continues to improve, slashing a huge ninety seconds of the previous weeks time! At this rate, next week should see him dip below the thirty minute mark.
