The light breeze blowing against the riders on the fast section of the course was of no concern to Ian Davies who used the warm conditions to produce the fastest time by a club rider on the course for two years! His winning time of 23m 57s was almost thirty seconds quicker than second placed Rhys Rowlands and forty-five seconds faster then third placed Tony Hudson.
Best improver on the night was Pontypool RCC rider Roger Wood who knocked over two minutes off his previous weeks effort.
