In the latest of the club’s Thursday evening 10 miles time trials on the circuit course between Pontypool and Hafodyrynys Rhys Rowlands clocked his fastest time this year of 24m.05s. as he continues his return to form after undergoing a hip replacement operation last September.
I.Davies clocked 24-36, Dave Evans 26-11, Paul Hale 27-30, and Owen Pocock recorded a remarkable 32m.48s. to beat the age standard laid down for his 72 years of age, even on this course which is much more difficult than those in use for open events.
